What is Cloud Hosting?
It is a hosting service provided by a clustered computing infrastructure in which computing tasks and data storage are divided among physically separate subsystems that work together on the same computer network.
The computing tasks and data storage could also be divided into different virtual environments of the same system.
What makes the system a cloud, and distinguishes the standard traditional web hosting service from a cloud-based one, is that the cloud hosting service provides some form of failover or high availability and is never delivered from a stand-alone physical server appliance.

"cPanel VPS" is a virtual private server that has the cPanel server automation control panel installed on it.
Is cPanel worth the money?
"Yes, as it is an advanced and secure server automation management software. The dedicated team behind cPanel makes sure that the software runs smoothly and constantly integrates new features and applications. If you have a profitable dot-com based business, it is worth spending on a cPanel license to ensure that you have a reliable software dashboard to automate server management and workflows.
What OS do I need to install to use cPanel?
"AlmaLinux 8, AlmaLinux 9, Rocky Linux 8, Rocky Linux 9, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 22.04 and some older Linux operating systems such as CentOS / RHEL 6 and CentOS / RHEL 7. However, we do not recommend the use of CentOS / RHEL versions. You can also install and use cPanel with CloudLinux OS, but you will need to pay for an OS license.
Do you recommend the use of cPanel with CloudLinux?
"You can use cPanel with CloudLinux OS versions 7, 8 and 9. It is worth using CloudLinux if you host and manage multiple virtual hosting (shared hosting) accounts. The advantage of using CloudLinux is that it allows the server administrator to set limits per virtual hosting account (shared hosting account). This improves overall server stability and performance by preventing users of virtual hosting accounts from overusing server resources and overloading the server.
